Officers investigating a robbery at a shop in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

The incident occurred at around 6.20pm on Monday 5 November 2018 at McColls on Old Christchurch Road.

A man entered the store, selected two cases of beer and attempted to leave the store without paying.

When stopped by a male member of staff the offender became very aggressive and punched him. Following a scuffle, the offender bit the man’s ear before making off. The victim was left with cuts and bruises.

Police Constable Cameron McGlone, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following a number of enquiries I am now able to issue a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that someone can identify him.

“If you have any information that could assist with the investigation, please contact Dorset Police.”
