CCTV appeal following assault in Bridport

Officers investigating an assault in Bridport are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

It is reported that at around 1am on Sunday 12 January 2020 a man, aged in his 20s, was assaulted in the garden of Number 10 Café Bar in East Street.

The victim was punched in the face by another man and sustained bruising to his jaw and arm.

Police Community Support Investigator Luke White, of Bridport police, said: “Following enquiries I have obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to speak to as he may have information to assist my investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
