Officers investigating a burglary at a coffee shop in Bridport are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

Between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday 7 October 2018 a man entered Costa Coffee in West Street and made his way to an insecure staff area. Bank cards, travel cards, a mobile phone and a tablet were taken from staff members’ bags.

Police Constable Alex Marshall, of Bridport police, said: “We have made a number of enquiries to try and trace the stolen items and identify the man involved.

“These have so far been unsuccessful and I am now issuing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that someone might recognise him.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to contact us.”
