Officers investigating a criminal damage incident in Bournemouth town centre are releasing CCTV images of the suspect in a bid to identify him.

At 3.22pm on Saturday 7 September 2019 a man kicked a life-size statue of a Lego Storm Trooper character that was on display outside Beales on Old Christchurch Road.

The man kicked the statue over causing the head to shatter on the floor.

Police Community Support Investigator Dave Singleton, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“While I appreciate the quality is not great, they are the best we have and I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190141157. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
