Officers investigating an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle near Sherborne are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

The incident occurred at around 6.50am on Saturday 24 August 2019 at Hill View in Bishops Caundle. The wing mirror of a car was damaged, costing the victim £100 to repair.

Following enquiries, officers have obtained CCTV footage showing a man in a white top with the number 15 on the back kicking the wing mirror off the vehicle.

Police Constable Simon Rogers, of Dorchester police, said: “We have been continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I am now in a position to release a CCTV image that we have obtained of the suspect.

“I appreciate it is not the best quality image, but I am hoping that with the description of the clothing he was wearing someone may be able to recognise him. I would urge anyone who has any information as to his identity to please contact us.”
