Officers investigating an incident of inappropriate touching on a bus in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

At around 10.50am on Thursday 19 December 2019 a 17-year-old girl got on a number 14 More bus at Garland Road, travelling toward West Howe. During the journey, she was touched on the leg by a man sitting in front of her.

A female passenger noticed the man insistently turning around to look at the victim and smile at her. After he had touched the victim’s leg this female passenger asked her if she would like to move and sit with her instead, which the victim did.

Police Constable Philip Prentice, of Poole Police, said: “This left the victim feeling understandably uncomfortable and I am keen to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

“I would ask the man or anyone who knows him to please contact Dorset Police.”
