Officers investigating a sexual assault in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

At around 9pm on Tuesday 10 December 2019 a woman was walking along Leigh Road when a man walked past and threw a wrapped condom at her. The man also made verbal threats to sexually abuse her.

The man did not make physical contact with her.

Police Constable Austin Kinnane, of East Dorset police, said: “While the victim did not sustain any injuries, she has been left understandably shocked and traumatised following the incident.

“As part of my enquiries I have obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone with information about who he is to please get in touch.”
