Officers investigating a theft of cash from a Post Office in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

At around 10am on Saturday 20 October 2018 a man entered the Post Office on Broadway in Southbourne.

He asked to change £900 in £10 notes, then asked for £20 notes and then Euros. Finally the man said he no longer wanted cash and instead wanted to make a money transfer.

In the confusion he used sleight of hand to steal 320 Euros and £340.

Police Constable Sara Watts, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been making a number of enquiries to try and identify the suspect and I am now issuing these CCTV images in the hope that someone will recognise him.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to contact police.”
