Officers investigating the theft of a wallet and subsequent card fraud in Weymouth are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Sometime between 8am and 12.30pm on Friday 22 March 2019 a wallet was stolen from the staff area of The Riviera Hotel on Bowleaze Coveway. A bank card was then fraudulently used on a number of occasions at stores in the town.

Police Constable Tom Arnold, of Weymouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to in connection with this incident.

“I would ask anyone who recognises this man to please contact Dorset Police.”
