Officers investigating the theft of a wallet in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

The victim’s wallet containing bank cards and £60 cash was stolen at the Haven Hotel in Sandbanks on Tuesday 25 June 2019.

The card was subsequently used at an unknown branch of Barclays bank in Northampton as well at the bank’s Newbury branch in Berkshire the following day.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Hardy, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been making enquiries into this incident and have obtained a CCTV image of a man who is believed to have used the victim’s card at the Newbury branch.

“I am appealing for anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
