The small charity’s Charity Concierge service is coming to Camp Bestival this year, and they need volunteers to drive buggies!

Child.org have been taking amazing volunteers to UK music festivals since 2015. This year they’re delighted to be coming to Camp Bestival for the first time, which means they urgently need Dorset volunteers!

Charity Concierging is great fun – you work just a few shifts driving a buggy around the site, giving people lifts as a festival taxi. All shifts finish by 8.30pm, so you know you’ll get plenty of quality time to enjoy the festival for free!

Volunteers camp together in staff camping (with access to showers and loos), making friends and working together as a team. If you volunteer in a group with friends, you’ll even get to work the same shifts.

Clare, a Charity Concierge at Latitude, said: “It was a magical weekend working with such awesome people.  The shifts went by really quickly, and we managed to catch all the headliners! This has got to be my favourite way to go to a festival.”

This is festival volunteering with real impact. Over just one weekend, each volunteer can raise enough for the charity to reach eight young mums in rural Kenya with potentially life-saving pregnancy support. This is a country where one in 26 babies die before they reach their first birthday, so arming mums with health information really can make all the difference.

To volunteer you need to be over 18 with a driving licence, and to pay a deposit (to assure the charity that you’ll turn up for your shifts). Head to charityconcierge.org to register.
