Christmas on the 25th December Explained

The day of shortest light. It is amazing how acurately we measure or predict these things. The 20th Dec, this year, has only 5 seconds more sunlight than today and tomorrow there is only 3 second difference. In ancient times the sun appeared to stand still for three days on the Tropic of Capricorn ( near the southern cross). It was seen to move North again on 25th December and so it was ‘born again’. So the sun died on the cross, laid in the tomb for three days and was raise from the dead. I’m sure that I have read those words somewhere before …..
