The Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival, the largest of its kind in the UK, is pleased to announce that it still plans to take place in 2020, not on the dates originally planned, but on 12th – 13th September 2020 instead (subject to government advice nearer the time).

With much uncertainty over the coming weeks and months, the organisers feel it’s best to make a decision now so that visitors and partners are able to concentrate fully on staying safe, and can begin preparing for a spectacular celebration of all things seafood later in the year.

It is hoped that a September festival can play an important role in a much-needed comeback for the tourism industry in Weymouth (and indeed Dorset).

Visitors will be able to enjoy Nyetimber’s award-winning English sparkling wines, learn from top chefs with our stage demonstrations and of course sample some of the best sustainable seafood our shores have to offer. The Festival will continue to raise funds for the Fishermen’s Mission, a charity that provides vital assistance to fishermen and their families in times of difficulty.

Please keep an eye on the Festival’s social media channels and www.dorsetseafood.co.uk for further updates.
