The three-year partnership between David Bent, a leader in the world of modern aviation art, and the annual Bournemouth Air Festival culminates in a new exhibition of his work at the iconic cliff-top Russell Cotes Art Gallery & Museum.

David Bent said, “I’m delighted to be at the wonderful Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum and hope that visitors enjoy seeing this collection of my paintings, many inspired by the Red Arrows. The exhibition includes “WOW”, painted during the 2014 Bournemouth Air Festival and a photo collage created in collaboration with students from AUB last summer. I look forward to completing my latest painting in situ at the stunning Russell-Cotes during this year’s excellent Air Festival”.
Over the past 15 years, David’s innovative approach to aviation art has established him as a leading artist in this field. Over the past decade David has been invited to collaborate with the Red Arrows and to have solo exhibitions at the RAF Museum, London; at the Dubai & Al Ain Airshows UAE; Farnborough International; St Paul’s Cathedral and at the Royal International Air Tattoo. He has recently been admitted to Honorary Companionship of the Royal Aeronautical Society in recognition of his exceptional contribution in transforming aviation art with iconic paintings; bringing aviation, technology and art together to a completely new audience whilst promoting aerospace far and wide.
Bournemouth’s Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum is situated on the East Cliff with fantastic views of the coastline. It is open from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday-Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays.
