Waypoints Care Group, a dementia-specialist care home group with its head office based in Ringwood, has recently appointed a new home manager: Penny Dale at Waypoints Verwood.  Penny has over 30 years experience in working within a care environment, 25 of which are dementia-related.

Penny, who started off her career as a care assistant and worked her way up to care home manager throughout her 30 year career span says “I don’t see Waypoints Verwood as a workplace; I like to think of it as working in our residents’ home.  I am really passionate about making Waypoints Verwood the best it can be, supported by a wonderful team.  It’s really important to me to make our residents feel as happy and comfortable as possible along with meaningful activities to provide stimulation and improved wellbeing.

Waypoints Care Group runs three specialist dementia care homes, based in Verwood, Plymouth and Upton.  Each home is purpose-built and completely set up for the needs of residents living with dementia, including bigger, beautifully decorated rooms, wider corridors, a fantastic choice of personalised activities and specially-trained staff.   For more details about Waypoints Care, go to www.waypoints-care.co.uk
