“Maverick are excited to be involved in the annual skatepark jam in Dorchester.  The Dorchester skatepark is such a great example of what can be achieved when a Council works in partnership with a Community Group and the local Police.  There are many talented skaters and riders on the scene who have honed their skills on the Dorchester skatepark and it’s great to watch them show off their amazing talent at the annual event. More details can be found on the Maverick Industries Facebook Page!”

Sue Mitchener (Director of Maverick)

Participants of all ages from under 12s to 40-plus are encouraged to come along and join in – under 9s must bring an adult to register them and all riders are advised to wear helmets and other suitable safety gear.

Emma Scott, Community Development Officer at West Dorset District Council says, “I am really impressed by the amount of great help this event has been given from the people who have organised it and those who are running activities and stalls on the day. The business support and sponsorship we have had has been outstanding and the additional stalls coming on the day will make this a really top quality event appealing to people of all ages”.
