Dorset businesses, charities and representatives from Borough of Poole and Bournemouth Borough Council joined The Big Green Event Exhibition for the first of their six weekly breakfasts, in the run up to The Big Green Event exhibition on the 20th September 2016 from 9.30am to 6.30pm.

Organiser, Anita Potten: The venue is just over the Dorset border into Hampshire. This is because it is the right venue to support an event like this, and not because the show is not about Dorset businesses. Indeed, we are a Dorset business, and it is every bit about supporting our county with environmental management, sustainability, energy and waste reduction. As well as the improvement of their processes and reduction in running costs.

In the business world today, the conversation about our impact on the climate is not something that can be avoided, either now or in the future.  The event promises something for every organisation, and an opportunity to take advantage of the free entry and free parking to attend.

The exhibition is well supported by Dorset based exhibitors also, with their wealth of products, services and expertise available in the county.  Businesses simply need know how to find them, and to know they are on their doorstep, said fellow organiser Lynda Daniels. That is why we are are putting everyone together, under one roof, which offers something completely unique for our region. Over 100 exhibits, keynote speakers, workshop programme and a one-day conference.  A voice from some of the largest organisations, and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment IEMA, to smaller company experiences.

A short hop on the motorway, the event is located at the home of Hampshire Cricket, the Hilton Ageas Bowl with all the modern facilities.
