Dorset Musicians and Bands

There are so many people out there that love live music, and so many of them are talented musicians that struggle to get their talent recognized and get there music out there. Whether they are a solo act or in a band, whether they are writing and performing their own material or playing as a covers or function band. Whatever the medium, awareness of these talented people should be raised!

I created Dorset Musicians and Bands with an aim for it to become the hub for the music community across the Dorset area. It’s a 100% free to use facility that gives users the opportunity raise awareness of themselves or their bands events, gigs, news, reviews, products and needs!

For the page to be fully beneficial users, it is reliant upon Facebook “Likes”! The more people with an interest in supporting our local music scene that “Like” the page, the greater the reach will be for everyone’s posts and updates and potentially getting people along to gigs and filling venues!

Also in an effort to support local businesses that offer services which can be utilized by our music community, I would also encourage them to like the page and message me with a link to their page so I can add it to the contact list for everyone to be able to reach them, as all musicians of any level looking to succeed, will at some point need:

• Venues and Pubs to play • Photographers • Recording and rehearsal facilities • Sound equipment and lighting hire or suppliers • Merchandise suppliers • Vocal coaches and music tutors

The page has been up and running under a month and already has over 500 likes, and a number of people have given very positive feedback on how useful they have found it. Please help support the Dorset Music Community and keep everyone connected.
