First the public:

The corporate media:

As we can all see all is not well in the Tory party. The likes of Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees-Mogg are fast falling out of favour as many Tory MP’s are beginning to challenge the direction and damage taking place.

Here Tobias Ellwood, member of Parliament for Dorset East, joins the increasing noise about how the public are being ignored and ‘democracy’ as he sees it facing a crisis.

He is not the only Tory MP in the county to stand against. Simon Hoare, the North Dorset MP, also refused to follow the whips demands.

The crisis is being felt much more widely too as the government stumbles from one catastrophe and U turn to another.

Now some are warning that unless there is an emergency break and a change in direction the country is heading for a dictatorship or even a civil war.

Thankfully parliament has responded, with all other parties in Westminster telling the government they want nothing to do with their plans to reform the MP disciplinary process, something Mr Ellwood describes as ‘marking your own homework’.

We will wait and see whether the government and their supporters continue to drive towards the cliff edge, with the abandonment of ‘democracy’ altogether, or whether the situation will erupt in to an outcome beyond their control.
