On Sunday 17th March at 7pm, Durlston Castle will be welcoming the latest in a series of world-class classical musicians, with a performance by acclaimed Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Principal Double Bass David Daly.
The concert, in the stunning clifftop venue will include pieces by Schubert, Bruch, Giovanni, Henry Eccles and more.
David has played and recorded all over the world, including at Carnegie Hall, the Musikverein Vienna and the Berlin Philharmoniker and has played with orchestras including the BBC Symphony, London Philharmonic, and the Royal Philharmonic and will be accompanied by award-winning pianist Duncan Honeybourne.

About David Daly:
In 1985 David Daly was appointed Principal Double Bass with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Since then he has toured internationally with the orchestra, performing in the world’s finest concert halls such as Carnegie Hall New York, Symphony Hall Boston, the Musikverein Vienna and the Berlin Philharmoniker. He has participated in the making of more than 150 cds as part of the the BSO’s Grammy award wining recording programme. He has appeared as concerto soloist with the BSO on a number of occasions to high acclaim.
