The problem with most journalists is that they don’t like to be wrong, especially publicly. When someone comes along and challenges their establishment perspective they huddle together in their oasis of ignorance and persuade the world that we should not listen to dissenting voices. Then along comes social and citizen media and the dissenters become the purveyors of reality and the establishment hacks become increasingly ridiculed and ignored. Long may it continue.
