A female drunk driver hit a dog and then parked on a wall on Dorchester Road in Weymouth.

Reports from a local shop assistant say the woman left the road outside of the Nice N’ Spicy Indian takeaway at Radipole in Weymouth before hitting a small dog, breaking its leg, and then coming to a stop on a wall outside of a decorating supplier.

The incident happened at 18.40 on Thursday, March 21st.

The woman reportedly stayed with the vehicle until the police arrived.

The incident yet again raises concerns about people who get into a car after having consumed alcohol. What would be the consequences if it had been a family who had been hit?
