Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a vehicle was seen driving carelessly in Wimborne.

At around 3.55pm on Monday 6 November 2023 officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Stone Lane.

It is reported that the vehicle—a silver Subaru Forrester—failed to stop for police and drove off onto the B3078.

Police Sergeant Natalie Skinner, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or the manner of the driving of the Subaru, to please get in touch.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who will have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230177682. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
