The health secretary Matt Hancock has come up with another ploy to deflect blame from the government for making the Covid 19 crisis worse through delay and mishandling. He’s blaming the shortage of protective gear on medical workers for binning disposable gloves, gowns, and masks.

The reason medical workers have had to fight this virus with inadequate masks, wearing bin bags, or with no protective gear at all is that the Tory government decided to ignore warnings about PPE shortages before the crisis even happened, then spent months twiddling their thumbs instead of making PPE acquisition an urgent priority.

“Blame the victim” is one of the oldest tricks in the politicians’ book.

They can’t even bring themselves to tell us how many NHS staff have died from Covid-19, but they will tell us that it’s their own fault for supposedly wasting PPE.

Everyone to blame except themselves.

  1. I not to mention my pals were found to be digesting the nice helpful hints from your web page while then developed an awful suspicion I never expressed respect to you for those tips. Those men were definitely excited to study all of them and now have honestly been making the most of them. Appreciation for really being really thoughtful and then for utilizing these kinds of remarkable themes most people are really desperate to know about. My personal honest regret for not expressing gratitude to earlier.
