Family dispute in Wimborne goes public

This is something that is becoming increasingly common. Family conflict and disputes.

Herewith is Malcolm Finch’s side of this debate:

‘For the past 6 years, I have cared for my father, who had bladder and lung cancer. He passed away in March 2023. Now I have been evicted from his house—my family home since 1986. This is a video of my brother Raymond and two solicitors telling me I’m a squatter! And I am currently having treatment for cancer, so it’s just more stress!

On 10 August 2023, I heard people in the Wimborne house. My brother, Raymond Finch, had entered the house with a solicitor, Michael Stocken. Another solicitor, a lady called Ianthe Slinger, was filming me through the glass door of the kitchen. I asked them to stop filming, as I had just gotten out of the shower and was standing in my underwear. Stocken informed me that, if I refused to leave the property, I could receive a large fine and/or a prison sentence. I found it surreal to be standing in my own home, where I cared for my late father intensively for 6 years, unable to go out most of the time, and when I did, I could only go out for an hour or so and not at all during the pandemic—and now I was being ordered out of that home by my brother Raymond and this solicitor, Stocken.

All the years, I struggled to protect my dad, and now Raymond was demanding I leave for his own and my brother Martin Jr.’s and sister Margaret’s selfish financial reasons.

Evidently, they believe that my job of caring for their father was done, and I am disposable!’
