People doing their festive shopping in Christchurch and Wimborne will be able to take advantage of free parking periods in council-run car parks in the run-up to Christmas. There will be free parking in some town centre car parks in Christchurch and Highcliffe between 10am and 7pm from Saturday 19 to Thursday 24 December.

To see the car parks where this applies, go to https://www.dorsetforyou.com/christmas-information/christchurch.  Free parking in council-run car parks in Wimborne is after 10am on 3 and 10 December and after 10am from Thursday 17 to Thursday 24 December. The free parking periods do not apply in car parks owned by Waitrose and The Co-op in Wimborne.
