Weymouth’s BIG Christmas begins on 4th December with BIG Christmas Opening Night when businesses in the town will dress their windows and get into the Christmas Spirit. The Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce have once again sponsored the Best Dressed Christmas Window competition and the winner will be announced on 4thDecember.
Join in with the countdown to the Christmas light switch on at 6pm and be wowed by an awesome light and ice skating display from Bournemouth based BxFist Freestyle Ice Skating Team at 7pm. The Christmas Market will be open until 9pm and full of delicious treats whilst listening to the music and entertainment…get stuck in and revel in the Christmas spirit!
On the 5th and 6th December, the traditional pantomime steps outside the theatre with the Pop-up Panto weekend! This year’s pantomime, Snow White & the Seven Dwarves, begins on 11th December at Weymouth Pavilion and the BIG Christmas has exclusive access to sneak previews of the show. More entertainment is on the line-up for the Main Stage as well as face painting and special Christmas Punch & Judy.
The 12th and 13th is another jam packed weekend of entertainment filled with Christmas magic. Immerse yourself and get involved in the interactive nativity and sing-a-longs. Enjoy a warm drink whilst listening to the show by Weymouth Operatic Society and WOW.
