Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find a woman who has gone missing from Dorchester.

Laura Dodon, 43, was last seen in Weymouth on Tuesday 21 July 2020 and was reported missing on Monday 27 July 2020 after failing to contact her family.

Officers have carried out checks at her home address in Gladiator Green but Laura has not been located.

She is described as white, five feet three inches tall, of medium build, with long dark hair, which she usually wears in a bun. It is not known what she is wearing.

Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “It has been eight days since anyone saw or spoke to Laura. Due to the length of time she has been missing and the fact she has not been in contact with her family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for her.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Laura, a woman matching her description, or knows of her whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police urgently.

“Finally, if Laura sees this appeal I would urge her to contact us. Your family is very worried about you.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to where Laura might be is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 27:215.
