I’m not a fan of Keir Starmer but this is a desperate attempt by the Mail to smear in the lead up to local elections. I have no idea how he celebrated his birthday and if there was cake involved but I do know 2 things as facts:
1. Starmer’s birthday is 2nd September.
2. Britain was not in lockdown in September 2020. It probably should have been but wasn’t. In fact, we had just come to the end of Rishi Sunak’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.
3. Using anonymous Tory MP’s to make up some sexist misogynist bollox is sadly the Mail’s purpose at election times.
Daily Mail the kings of hypocrisy:
And four days since Starmer pledged to end the “non-dom” taxpayer status enjoyed by people like Rishi Sunak’s wife and *Daily Mail owner* Jonathan Harmsworth… https://t.co/J1DT92hBS7

And according to the government Keir Starmer when in Durham campaigning at end of April 2021 was merely obeying the new protocols:
The Daily Mail, aka Tory Pravda, has excelled itself by making allegations about Labour leadership antics during a lockdown, even though the alleged events took place when there wasn’t a lockdown, weren’t what they purported to be, and aren’t being investigated.

- Reopening of licensed premises, including social clubs, outdoors only, limited to 6 people from no more than 2 households and contact details recorded;
- Removal of curfew on takeaways;
- Removal of curfew on off licences; and

All this equals yet more horsesh** from the Daily Heil.
