I’m not a fan of Keir Starmer but this is a desperate attempt by the Mail to smear in the lead up to local elections. I have no idea how he celebrated his birthday and if there was cake involved but I do know 2 things as facts:

1. Starmer’s birthday is 2nd September.

2. Britain was not in lockdown in September 2020. It probably should have been but wasn’t. In fact, we had just come to the end of Rishi Sunak’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.

3. Using anonymous Tory MP’s to make up some sexist misogynist bollox is sadly the Mail’s purpose at election times.

Daily Mail the kings of hypocrisy:

And according to the government Keir Starmer when in Durham campaigning at end of April 2021 was merely obeying the new protocols:

Relaxations to Coronavirus Regulations – 30 April 2021

The following relaxations to the Coronavirus Health Regulations will come into effect from 30 April 2021:

Covid-19 update
  • The numbers permitted to gather in private gardens will increase to 15 people from no more than 3 households;
  • Reopening of all of retail;
  • Reopening of self-contained tourist accommodation, for one household only, with overnight stays permitted;
  • Reopening of unlicensed premises, outdoors only, with a maximum of 6 people from 2 households per table and contact details recorded;
  • Reopening of licensed premises, including social clubs, outdoors only, limited to 6 people from no more than 2 households and contact details recorded;
  • Removal of curfew on takeaways;
  • Removal of curfew on off licences; and
  • Individual activities in gyms, swimming pools and other large venues will be permitted – including with a carer and to allow 1-2-1 training/coaching with social distancing.

All this equals yet more horsesh** from the Daily Heil.
