Detectives are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to as they investigate a sexual assault in Purbeck.

The incident occurred during the night of Wednesday 15 July 2020 into the morning of Thursday 16 July 2020 in the area of Durlston Country Park near Swanage.

The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, was camping at a small cove in the park with a group of other people and during the night she reported that she was sexually assaulted.

Detective Constable Neil Hooker, of Western CID, said: “We are making enquiries into this incident and have obtained an image of a man we would like to speak to as he may have information that can assist our investigation.

“I would ask anyone with information regarding the identity of this man to please contact us and would urge the man to come forward and speak to us if he sees this appeal.”
