For those who remember the 2011 referendum on changing the voting system they will recall being told that the Alternative Voting System (in which we would have had to rank our preferences) was too difficult to understand and that we should retain the First Past The Post system. This argument was successful as it basically lead the British public to adopt a single number IQ philosophy towards democracy.
Well here we go again on Brexit. The message is that we are too thick to understand that leaving the EU is anything other than a polar, binary, black and white choice. The message it gives out is that the education system in this country is about as useful as a condom made of barbed wire.
