Yesterday the BBC announced the ‘4 minute warning’. Panic ensued as people up and down the country rushed to their phones and PC’s. Having logged on they signed and then waited with hope. They dare not speak as they trembled in anticipation that everything would be alright. To wake up tomorrow morning with this threat hanging over them could be too much to bear. Someone, somewhere would surely see sense and cancel the calamity. Finally later in the day; reassurance. A solution had been found. More complicated than before but at least a result.
They could sleep in peace tonight knowing everything was pretty much back to normal. Phew…
