I’m extraordinarily flattered that Jeremy Corbyn has been readmitted into Labour on my birthday!

In all seriousness, this is obviously complete humiliation for Starmer, the Gen. Sec Evans & U.K. Labour. They have handled this atrociously, putting Jewish comrades (pro or anti Corbyn) in incredibly difficult positions, they have lost us (literally) tens of thousands of members, completely blown away any chance of Party unity and arguably broken Labour’s own rules and the EHRC rules.

It’s been a complete PR disaster, united & emboldened the left, made Corbyn demonstrably stronger and for what?! The Party and leader have gone backwards in their beloved polls. “Forensic” it has definitely not been. If it was “political tactics” then I’d hate to see them running an Election campaign…

Thankfully for them, Jeremy gave them a bridge today in his statement. Because of the measure of the man, he put Party first and gave them an out. One which they desperately grabbed because they know full well just how much they f***ed-up, they know full well they would have split the Party, literally, had they expelled Jeremy as they demonstrably want to, and they know full well they would have an an almighty costly defeat would Jeremy have started legal proceedings.

I have said consistently that Jeremy Corbyn is the best human being I have ever met. The true ‘exception that proves the rule’ re political leaders and politicians. I don’t know a single person who would show the grace he has, and is. I would not have. But then Jeremy is a better man than me. Welcome back Jeremy; the members, most of them, especially now, look in your direction for leadership. Never more so than now. I am sorry you have had to experience this, but, most of all I am sorry for my Jewish comrades who have been disgracefully used as a political football to try and bring down the most anti-racist politician anywhere.

Love & Solidarity.

PS Now, let us see if KS, the NEC and DE hold Keir up to the ‘standards’ they have set for others….

Notice ‘Boycott Israel…’ emblazoned behind the panel that Mr Starmer is part of.
