Joan Ryan’s boasts reveal how she screwed UK democracy

Who is Joan Ryan?

Joan Ryan was a Labour MP and a member of Labour Friends Of Israel.

  1. In October 2007, the Evening Standard disclosed that during the 2006/2007 tax year, Ryan had filed expenses totaling £173,691, surpassing all other MPs in London in terms of claims. Notably, she had held the second-highest position in the previous tax year. Furthermore, in May 2007, Ryan cast her vote in support of David Maclean’s Freedom of Information (Amendment) Bill, a bill aimed at maintaining the confidentiality of parliamentary expense records.
  2. During the parliamentary expenses scandal, The Daily Telegraph exposed in May 2009 that Ryan had utilised £4,500 of expenses for a secondary residence in Enfield, which she later “flipped” with her primary residence, a flat in south London. Between 2004 and 2008, she classified her Enfield house, located within her constituency, as her secondary home, while designating her primary residence as a flat in south London that she had acquired in 2004. She had also spent £1,045 on repairs and refurbishment for the secondary home during the 2007/2008 period and an additional £3,624 in 2008/2009, with these expenses being covered by the Additional Costs Allowance (ACA).
  3. In response to the report, Ryan stated that she had not made any claims for refurbishment on her south London flat and, as a result, had not engaged in “flipping” properties to maximise her allowance benefits. She explained to The Telegraph that, while she was in government, the regulations required her to designate her flat as her primary residence because of its proximity to Parliament. However, upon leaving government, she decided to switch her designation to the Enfield house as she had “returned to spending more time” there. In the February 2010 audit report of expenses claims by Thomas Legg, Ryan was asked to reimburse £5,121.74 for mortgage interest claims. At the time of the report’s publication, she had only repaid £322.45.
  4. Regarding Wikipedia edits, The Independent reported in March 2012 that there were “at least 10 attempts” made from computers within the Parliamentary estate to remove information about Ryan’s expenses from her Wikipedia article. An additional 20 attempts were traced to her former constituency of Enfield North. Entertainer Tom Scott, in his “2010 Editing Wikipedia From Inside Parliament Awards,” humorously awarded the anonymous editor of Ryan’s page the “Sweeping Things Under The Carpet Award.” In November 2014, the Enfield Independent noted the removal of a section titled “Involvement in the expenses scandal” from her Wikipedia page. In response, Ryan vehemently denied allegations of altering the entry, describing it as a “categorically untrue” and “politically-motivated smear campaign against me [Ryan].” The Daily Telegraph reported that the entire section concerning expenses on Ryan’s page was deleted by computers within Parliament in the lead-up to the 2015 general election. Worth noting is that Ryan, while a parliamentary candidate, was not an MP at that time.

We now have a reasonable idea of who we are dealing with.

It is, of course, ironic that the leading contenders for the Israeli PM in 2019 were, according to some ‘bookmakers’ pro apartheid, terrorist supporting ‘centrist’ Labour MP’s.

I know this is controversial, but one either supports the apartheid terrorism of a state, stays silent, or supports those who challenge the apartheid terrorist state.

Joan Ryan, Ian Austin and John Mann chose the former.

And then, in the future, instead of being embarrassed or even scared that, following their death, their God will need a colostomy bag when they tap on the gate asking to come in, they just boast. What morons want God to need a colostomy bag? That is just pure evil.

It must also be pointed out that not only is she continuing to boast but she is doing so after the leaked reports revealed that it was a sham.

And yes, the strategy for lying about antisemitism is a decades old policy admitted by… Israeli ministers themselves.

Anyone who believes these apologists for murder and mayhem will merely participate in a much larger colostomy bag being required by the creator of all things. That is not going to be of any use to them, either now or when their time comes.
