Members and supporters of North Dorset Green Party will be making the journey to London on Sunday 29 November, to join thousands of people in calling for strong action on climate change.

On the eve of the most crucial international summit of the decade, the U.N. Climate Talks in Paris (COP21), people in cities around the world will take to the streets to march for ambitious action on the climate crisis.

The Green Party is the biggest national party to demand real climate action, so North Dorset Greens will be travelling to London to join the march.

From London to São Paulo, Johannesburg to Paris, people will march together to meet this moment with a single loud and clear message that can’t be ignored.

Anna Baker, chair of North Dorset Green Party said: “The message is clear. We want a world with a just economy that works for people and planet, a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world powered by clean renewable energy, with sustainable jobs, clean air and water and healthy communities.

“Let’s all make sure that world leaders hear our voice on Sunday 29 November in London.”

North Dorset Green Party will be running a coach to London, leaving Blandford (Ham & Marsh Car Park/Morrison’s) at 08:00 and picking up in Shaftesbury (Bell St Car Park/Co-op) at 08:30.
