Award winning Weymouth Fish & Chip shop Fish n Fritz presented Mrs Brenda Bonwell B.E.M., the former Chairwoman of the Weymouth & Portland Friends of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, Group with a cheque for £300.

Fish n Fritz raised the money by taking part in Julia’s House Chip Shop Challenge that saw chip shops from all over Dorset donating 5p from every portion of chips sold during August. Fish n Fritz sold over five and a half thousand portions of chips during the month.

Paul Hay says “This is the second year we have taken part in this great promotion with Julia’s House. This year was even better than last year, our customers really got behind the campaign and bought a lot of chips.”

Laura Kelly Community Fundraising Manager Julia’s House “Well done to staff and customers of Fish N Fritz for once again taking up our Chip Shop Challenge. By donating 5p from every portion of chips sold in August they have raised a magnificent £300 in support of local families caring for life-limited children.  This takes their total donated to Julia’s House £568, thank you Fish N Fritz.”
