As part of the Company’s ongoing charity initiatives and support, National Locksmith Keytek™ has announced they will be sponsoring a Guide Dog Puppy.

Monies normally used to purchase company Christmas cards have been donated by Keytek™ to sponsor Freddie’s journey to becoming a Guide Dog and a life-changing companion for a blind or partially sighted person.

It costs an average of £50,000 to train a Guide Dog; just £95 could buy a Training School Kit for a Guide Dog starting it’s training. The Charity receives no government funding therefore Keytek™’s donation of £500 will help greatly to contribute towards Freddie’s training and help support the Charity in its efforts to provide support for those who are blind or partially sighted.

Eddie Wilkinson, Operations Director at Keytek™, said: “We are really excited to announce that we will be sponsoring Freddie and his training to become a Guide Dog as part of our ongoing support and fundraising activities for the Charity. We have also organised several events to take place throughout the year as part of our pledge to provide ongoing support which will be announced shortly!”

Throughout the year Keytek™ has pledged to hold numerous charity events in order to provide ongoing support the Guide Dogs and their charitable efforts; these fundraising events have included a Bake Sale and a Pancake Fun Day. Future fundraising events organised by Keytek™ in aide of the Guide Dogs will include a Skydive.
