A woman has come forward and a man has been identified following a CCTV appeal in relation to an alleged serious assault in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 12.50am on Sunday 10 November 2024 a man was punched in the face outside Buffalo Bar in Wimborne Road and required hospital treatment to a serious jaw injury.
Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by detectives, a man has been identified and a 24-year-old woman from Bournemouth has come forward and is due to attend a voluntary police interview in relation to the incident.
Detectives are issuing images of a man and a woman they would like to identify following a serious assault in Bournemouth.
The incident occurred at around 12.50am on Sunday 10 November 2024 outside the Buffalo Bar in Wimborne Road.
It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s – was punched in the face while outside the bar following an altercation with a group of people inside the bar.
The victim sustained a serious injury to his jaw which required hospital treatment.
Detective Investigator Demi Kattaini, of BCP CID, said: “As part of my investigation, I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man and a woman I would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please contact Dorset Police.”
