Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a road traffic collision in North Dorset.

Dorset Police was called at 12.23am on Sunday 19 December 2021 to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a black and silver Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck on Chapel Road in Bagber.

The single occupant of the vehicle – a man aged in his 30s from Shaftesbury – was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious head injury. 

Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of North Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists who were driving in the vicinity and may have captured the incident, or manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the collision, to please come forward.”
