Man in his 40’s assaulted by group in Poole

Officers investigating an assault in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 7.20pm on Wednesday 22 June 2022 it was reported that a group of teenagers were causing anti-social behaviour at Branksome Chine Beach, near to Branksome Café. A man aged in his 40s confronted the group and was assaulted by members of the group.

The victim sustained a cut to his nose, bumps to the head and bruising to his body.

Police Constable Sarah Dutton, of Poole police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information relating to the identity of those involved, to please contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who may have captured mobile phone footage of the incident to please get in touch, if you have not already spoken to police.”
