Officers investigating a theft by finding incident in Poole are issuing CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to.

At approximately 5.20pm on Saturday 26 October 2019 the victim, a man aged in his 60s, had used a self-service till at Asda on Culliford Crescent to pay for items and request cashback. However, he forgot to collect the cash.

When the man returned to the store a short time later he discovered the cash had gone.

Enquiries revealed it had not been handed into staff at the store.

Police Community Support Investigator Dan Cammell, of Poole police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have obtained CCTV images of two people I would like to speak with as they may have information about where the cash is.

“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190169589. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
