Officers searching for missing man Stephen Wells, who had last been seen in Dorchester, are pleased to confirm he has been found.

Stephen was reported missing having last been seen at around 11am on Saturday 10 June 2023.

Following searches by officers, he has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing man who was last seen in Dorchester.

Stephen Wells, aged 41, was reported missing having last been seen riding a navy blue bicycle in the area of Maiden Castle Road at around 11am on Saturday 10 June 2023.

Stephen is described as around six feet one inch tall and of medium build with brown hair. He was wearing a black Harrington jacket, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers as well as a blue bicycle helmet.

Inspector Chrissie Plumley, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Stephen’s welfare and we are keen to find him to make sure he is all right.

“Officers are conducting searches and I would urge anyone with information regarding Stephen’s whereabouts to please contact us.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Stephen if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to check that you are OK.”
