Officers are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify as they investigate a burglary in North Dorset.

At around 12.20am on Saturday 25 November 2023, entry was gained to the Weymouth and Sherborne Recycle Centre in Shaftesbury Lane, Blandford. Officers attended the scene and found damage to the site office door. At this time, it is not believed anything was stolen.

Police constable Edward Lewis, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been investigating this burglary and have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I appreciate his face cannot be clearly seen but it may be someone is able to recognise him from his general build and clothing. I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please get in touch.”
