It’s ‘disrespectful’ to strike, apparently. Or for the TUC to hold its annual conference. Servile wretches at sundry food banks even consider feeding hungry kids on the day of the funeral ‘disrespectful.’ As are observing hospital appointments or attending prole funerals.

It isn’t ‘disrespectful’, however, to evict tenants, slash pay, terms & conditions. I notice, too, that the stock exchange will remain fully open & trading next Monday. And, in an act of majesterial benevolence, our new King, while sat in church, sacked 100 of his staff.

Why, it’s almost like one side of the class war is continuing uninterrupted while the other side is ‘disrespectful’ for fighting to survive & put food on the table.

Napoleon was wrong. England is not ‘a nation of shopkeepers.’ It’s a nation of bootlickers. Gutless, craven serfs who will, seemingly, accept any indignity & punitive hardship if imposed by their aristo ruling class. Truly, Ingerlund is the place where self-respect goes to die.

  1. Sadly, a degree of truth in this claim. But it is more like people being raised to be servile due to the UK brainwashing it’s masses into thinking that they have to serve a corrupt system without complaint. OK, some people do complain, but only among themselves. They also realise that the system will not change and the divisions created, Left and Right Wing political ideologies, will ensure they remain that way. Let’s face it, both Labour and the Lib Dems have leaders who have knighthoods. What does that say about these two groups of antagonists, some of who are misanthropic in their dislike of ordinary people?

I wish I could say proportional representation could change this at least a little. But the Brits, as you say, are ‘bootlickers’ who find it easier not to ‘rock the boat’ and just do as they are commended. You know the type. They are the ones who say there is so much they disagree with, but they do not want to cause trouble. They think things will get better if they ignore the root causes of their suffering.

My advice is that this mentality is unchangeable. Trying to change the way people think is quite literally like ‘flogging a dead horse’. I learned this a long time ago. I have protested, directly challenged authority, exposed lies, deceit and corruption. But nobody wants to put an end to this. As long as tax cuts and social security benefits keep people bribed, or enslaved, then this is the way it will be.

Funnily enough, I once saw a humorous quote on the rear of a car. It said: “There is too much apathy in this world, but I could not care less.” True, yes?

    • I should have said ‘commanded’, and not ‘commended’. There is no editing facility here, so I cannot change what I have written. I would add though that the term ‘commended’ is somewhat viable. This is because so many like being falsely praised when they do something that their lords and masters like and approve of. ‘Bootlicking’, as you call it.
