A brand new production of Jack and the Beanstalk is coming to the Entertainments Centre at the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Burton Bradstock in December 2013. 

Well known TV soap star, Tamaryn Payne will be joining the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park this Christmas.  Tamaryn is best known to TV audiences for playing Annalise Appleton in the popular Channel 4 soap  Hollyoaks. Since leaving the show Tamaryn has taken on roles in feature film Vendetta, which also stars Danny Dyer, and the role of Nina in BBC1’s Casualty.

Tamaryn has also taken to the stage, starring in Greenwich Theatre’s adaptation of Ibsen’s Ghost’s to rave reviews. Tamaryn graduated from Arts Ed

This weekend the Entertainments Team will be hosting a Panto’s Got Talent Audition on Saturday, 14 September where young people aged between 5 & 17 years are encouraged to come along and star in the brand new panto.     

5 – 10 year olds          10am Registration      10.30-11.30 Audition

11 – 14 year olds                 12 midday Registration 12.30 – 1.30 Audition

15 – 18 year olds                 2pm Registration        14.30 – 15.30 Audition

This is a very exciting opportunity for local young people to work with an amazing cast brought straight from the West End of London. Kai Widdrington who will play Jack in the Pantomime will be attending the auditions, so youngsters will have an opportunity to meet him.

Drew Baker, Entertainments Manager said “ I would encourage any young person to come down on Saturday and “have a go” we are looking for singers, dancers as well as performers and all round entertainers. We are extremely lucky to have the very talented Kai Widdrington playing the star part of Jack and I am sure we will attract some keen young actors and dancers who would like to be part of the show.”

Kai Widdrington was a finalist in TV Show Britains Got Talent in 2012 and is a committed Ballroom and Latin Dancer who lives in Southampton.  Kai will be visiting many schools on the run up to the Pantomime and will be encouraging schools, children’s groups and other community groups to come along to the Pantomime and enjoy the fun.
