Hi, My name is Jason, although I’m more commonly known as Noodles by my friends, I have a brilliant hobby. Music, I have been playing since I was 14 in Cover Bands and writing material with other artists. I am now getting International interest from the US, Australia, Europe, and others. Also I am getting interest from various Dj’s & Record Companies Worldwide. I have had to make the transition into the digital world of downloading.Music is a cut-throat business and you have to play the game and be smart. Its a whole new world. Here are some helpful tips.

My advice is simple. Number 1. Copyright Everything you do. Contact a Genuine Song Writing Guild (annual fees). 2. MUST MUST MUST Get PRS and MCPS (DO NOT PASS GO UNTIL THIS IS DONE) (One off payment to each)  3. Get a Reputable publisher, choose wisely (Annual fees). 4. Avoid offers from companies who claim wild things. 5. Read everything you enter into some contracts allow the other party to alter agreements without permission. NO NO NO. 6 Remember you own the copyright and the publishing right to start with. Don’t miss out on your publishing rights as many artists do. 7. Your Music Your Rights. 8. Royalties are subject to taxation at a minimum of your countries tax percentage. If you earn from abroad ensure you do not miss paying the tax. Your publisher should inform you about this. Hope this helps anyone interested.
