The Visit Dorset Tourism Partnership is excited to launch a brand new, 3 minute, promotional video highlighting the very best of Dorset to visitors.

The new video shows Dorset’s dramatic coast, beautiful countryside, fun attractions and fascinating market towns, and will be used to encourage more visitors to choose Dorset as a holiday destination.

The video can be viewed on the team’s official Visit-Dorset Facebook page or on www.visit-dorset.com the official visitor website for Dorset.

The team successfully bid for money from the South West Tourism Growth Fund to produce the video and worked with Bournemouth based LoveLove Films, an independent multimedia production company.

Nick Thornley, on behalf of the Visit Dorset Tourism Partnership, said:

“The video looks great and will be a useful marketing tool to showcase Dorset’s fantastic and varied tourism offer. The team took every opportunity to ensure that the whole of Dorset benefited from the South West Tourism Growth Fund, a £5million government-funded campaign to promote the whole of the South West.

“As part of the growth fund the team worked with local tourism businesses to provide familiarisation trips across Dorset for international tour operators and travel media, attended a showcase event in Torquay to promote Dorset to international travel trade buyers and much more. The video provided a new opportunity to add to the promotional work that the Visit Dorset Tourism Team already carries out on behalf of local tourism businesses.”

The video will now be promoted via the social media channels managed by the Visit Dorset tourism team and www.visit-dorset.com
