The darling of fascists, Suella Braverman, is rinsed again.

What you may not know about Suella Braverman

1. The Spitting Image satirical show has lampooned her as the possessed child from the 1970s horror movie, The Exorcist.
2. Braverman was born Sue-Ellen Cassiana Fernandes in April 1980 and grew up in Brent, a vibrant north London borough that demographic data shows is the most ethnically diverse in the country. In 2019 it became the first borough in the U.K. in which more than half the residents were born overseas.
3. The Black Conservative commentator Albie Mankona tweeted: “The daughter of Commonwealth migrants, in a biracial & multi religion marriage claims in absolute terms that multiculturalism has failed when she and her family are a living multicultural civil nationalist success story. She should be using her story as a template for a national integration program.”
4. Braverman was named after the Linda Gray character in Dallas who played JR Ewing’s wife.
5. The students at Queens College Cambridge, where she studied, were generally progressive and empathetic something she found difficult to aspire to and reacted against. Students contended that she became a figure of fun.

6. Braverman found herself at the centre of a furore, after a fellow Queens’ student told the student newspaper, Varsity, that she had offered to buy him drinks in return for him voting for her to become club president. When the affair hit Varsity’s front page, under the headline “Conservatives in corruption crisis,” it caused a full blown scandal.

7. The eminent barrister Philip Kolvin claimed that Braverman lied on her CV when she claimed that she helped him write a book.

8. She knowingly broke international law when Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal began to implode.

9. Braverman became visibly upset when questions were raised by a newspaper about a sex scandal relating to the Triratna Buddhist order, of which she is a member.

10. Her husband is Jewish.

11. She switched from supporting to Boris Johnson to attacking him in a blink of eye.

12. Many Tory colleagues believe she is all wind and no action. Her policies are abject failures and yet she continues to throw them out via sympathetic media outlets.
