Over 25 acts, across 5 stages, over 2 days – music, dance and much more…

The brand new Out Loud Festival will be in Weymouth on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June. Across the weekend, Weymouth will be filled with music, laughter and fun as performers entertain at five stages around Weymouth town centre.

Brought to you by the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club together with Weymouth BID, the Out Loud Festival is a free event and has a host of entertainment with something for everyone.

Whether you enjoy the melodic sound of opera or the up tempo tune of a ukulele, rock and roll or jazz; Out Loud Festival has it all. Local artists, bands, dancers, choirs and many more are on the line-up for this new festival in Weymouth.

Talented acts including Indie-Rock band from Hampshire, Spindlefish and rock-funk band Kung Fu Chicken Fighters from Dorset are set to perform over the two day event along with local favourite shanty singers the Dorset Wrecks, WOW and, the voice of cool swing himself, Darron Garnett. Buskers, Morris dancers, face painters amongst other street performers will also be filling the town with music and entertainment.

With the Out Loud Festival stages positioned around the town in New Bond Street, two in St Thomas Street and two in St Mary Street, visitors to the town can enjoy acts in not one but FIVE areas around the town centre.   The whole family is invited to get singing out loud, dancing out loud and laughing out loud in Weymouth!

Out Loud Festival is the first time the Weymouth BID has delivered an event together with a charity organisation and hope for a successful festival to pioneer future partnerships.

The Out Loud Festival marks the last of Weymouth BID’s spring events and makes way for the autumn and winter celebrations. Waterfest Weymouth, 5th-6th September, honours Dorset’s unique maritime heritage with dramatic tall ships docking and aquatic jetpack displays occurring in Weymouth’s beautiful harbour. Throughout October, FEAST Weymouth celebrates the town’s independent eateries with participating venues providing a set-menu or great offers between price ranges of £5 to £25.  A real ice rink is planned for the dazzling Christmas Sparkle event throughout December and as well as all this, don’t miss out on one of Europe’s BEST places to spend New Year!
